Title: Home Stretch
Post by: OolongAiki on July 18, 2006, 10:56:34 PM
I first saw this home driving through Auburn on my way to class.  I was running late, so I had to contain my curiosity until the end of the day...it didn't work.  I skipped the last half of my classes to get a closer look!  The family that lived there was happy to give me a tour (I lied and said I was writing an article for a college magazine), and now I present it to you!

The first thing you realize looking at this home is that it is BIG.  There is more than enough room here to fit a small army if need be, or just a couple of Fortune Aspiration Sims and their brood!

I love the sunken garden entrance to this home...it lends itself to quiet romantic evenings, and the raised dining room adds elegance to any formal occasion.

As an Auburn grad myself, I am happy to hear that you too appreciate the homes in "The Loveliest Village of the Plains".

This one will definitely "play" in my game.

Great work.

Did you REALLY stop and tell the folks living there that you were writing an article? You appreciated their house and that makes all wrongs right!

Yup, I really told them that.  It's a line I use often.  Most of the time, it's the truth.  I have written an article for this and the other homes...just never published them.
