The city of Mobile, Alabama has a spectacular historic homes neighborhood, most of them with facades that will take your breath away. They remind you of the old plantation style homes you see in "Gone With The Wind"...except this one, built in 1942 by an entrepreneur of Mediterranean descent. One fascinating note is that the housekeeper and the gardner both say they hate this house because apparantly one of the upstairs bedrooms is haunted. By what or whom they wouldn't say, they just kept crossing themselves every time I mentioned it.
Look at the classic arches and the gorgeous roofline. This home has definite curb appeal, and looks great inside as well. The porte-cochere welcomes your Sims home and bids them safe journey whenever they leave. The arched entry leads to a formal living room and dining room.
The spacious island kitchen and breakfast nook are both brightly lit and lend a cheerful atmosphere to the rest of the four plus bedroom, three bath home. As is tradition in most Southern homes, the family room is in the rear of the house, where friends and family would enter the home.

I just love your Bible Belt Homes ! I live in Alabama and lived in Mobile for 10 years. They really do have alot of beautiful spanish style homes there. You capture them very well. :tup
