The first time I saw this home I was taking my dog walking through a rather nice section of town. It was so cute, I stood there in front of the house for a long time just looking it at. (That is, until the old lady called the fuzz and they asked me not to loiter, LOL)
A couple of years later, my pharmacist, Phillip, whom I refer to lovingly as Dr. Phil, and his family moved into the house and I got a peek inside. One of the things I've noticed while looking at homes in the Bible Belt is that only the front of the houses gets a lot of landscaping attention. That, and only people who don't know you actually use the front door, so the rooms immediately adjacent to it are always, ALWAYS immaculate for the simple reason that no one, except people who don't know you, ever uses those rooms.
The kitchen/breakfast nook area is where all the action is. Picture it: a big neighborhood barbecue is going on (in the South, there are no such things as 'backyard barbecues'...it's just assumed that's where it's going to be) and all of the women are chopping, cooking, sipping mint juleps, and passing gossip while the men are outside on the deck downing beer and burning meat on the grill, with the kids running everywhere but close to the road...it's a scene which I've seen a hundred times or more every weekend here.
Thanks (again) to Numenor and the CEP, which you may or may not need for some of the objects, and also for the outdoor lantern.
Thanks to Zita @aussietopenders for the deluxe counters
Thanks to sims2world for the great plants with German names I can't pronounce, and to Simveggie at MTS2 for the pansy and poppy recolors, and also to 4EFS for the hydrangea, a Southern classic plant, and the Delphinum, which is growing like a weed in my yard LOL.
I've spent many a lazy Sunday on the deck of this home, and now your Sims can, too. Welcome Home.

Oh that was/is still soooooo true!
Shewed away by the police for admiring a home..... how funny!
My Sims will enjoy living here as much as I have being introduced to its background. Thank you! :D

Folks for some strange reason get paranoid about someone standing in front of their house for a long time, and downright rude when you have a camera and snap pictures. Don't know why.
Last week I had my camera confiscated by the local constabulatory until they ascertained that I wasn NOT, in fact, "casing the joint". I just had them log on and directed them to this website. Wicked Sims saved my camera!!

I live in a small town, Jessica. The police have little else to really do, so anything they do is either over the top or not nearly enough. Ever watch 'The Andy Griffith Show'? Mayberry exists in most small towns in the South. It's so cute when they try to act like big city cops with an important job to do. They get all stiff and serious, you just want to pinch their little cheeks!

They didn't get those blueprints did they? Cause that could brust up our whole scheme... ;)
