One of the things I've noticed while looking at homes in the Bible Belt is that only the front of the houses gets a lot of landscaping attention.  That, and only people who don't know you actually use the front door, so the rooms immediately adjacent to it are always, ALWAYS immaculate for the simple reason that no one, except people who don't know you, ever uses those rooms.

Oh that was/is still soooooo true!

Shewed away by the police for admiring a home..... how funny!

My Sims will enjoy living here as much as I have being introduced to its background. Thank you! :D

Another beauty!

Does the Mayor's home have a lot of stained glass too? I think that is so neat, and certainly rare in homes built this day and time.

In his family for over a century? It must be a magnificent structure.

You have made the South Rise Again through your creations.

I can't stress enough how much I (and I am sure most everyone else) enjoy your introductions and home history.

Thank you, OolongAiki! :D

As an Auburn grad myself, I am happy to hear that you too appreciate the homes in "The Loveliest Village of the Plains".

This one will definitely "play" in my game.

Great work.

Did you REALLY stop and tell the folks living there that you were writing an article? You appreciated their house and that makes all wrongs right!

Aiki / Love your history

Dear OolongAiki,

You should write for Southern Living or similar. Your into's are as exciting as the homes your build. I stress HOMES too, because these are not just boxes with roofs that might provide shelter.

People would want to LIVE here.

Thank you. I am now a huge fan of your work. I know that makes your day![WINK][WINK]

Another winner from the Bama Beauty,

This one looks like it requires at least NL with the driveways. Guess I will just take my chance. It looks too good to pass up.

Gadsden, AL (my hometown) has some homes like this one still around thank goodness.

Thanks a lot for sharing. :D

Dear OolongAiki,

This one looks like a fun house to play. I love the dormers, porchesm and multiple external and internal stairways.

Thanks for showing us your decorating tastes and as usual, thanks for the neat introduction. :D

Beautiful home, OolongAiki!

Thank you for sharing. Born and raised and still living in the South, I love to see the older architecture of the porches and breezeways of days gone by.

I agree with Taeryunn about your "history" and introduction of the houses you make.

I downloaded it, so now I hope it plays with my meager base game and UNI.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts as well as your creations. :D

Wow Henrik,

This was no easy task. What a neat and beautiful creation.

I too am a Charmed fan, and despite taking some screen caps during the show, for the life of me I can't see how the rooms in the episodes fit the exterior shots of that house (no doubt they are NOT as big in that house as they appear in the series.

Good job and thanks for sharing! :D
