well hello there

hi all, figured i'd be polite and introduce myself before i get all settled into my normal lurk-y self,  i'm really a lousy typist and computer 'flicted so i try not to draw much attention to meself, actually introducing myself is going totally against the grain.  but politeness takes over sometimes,
