I'm the PhoneCardLady and no, I do not work for the phone company, sell phone cards or work in the cellphone business.  Actually the name came about in 1995 when I went to Winston-Salem, NC for the Winston Cup Preview.  One of the vendors there was selling phonecards of the various drivers and since Darrell Waltrip is my man, I got several and had him autograph them!  thus, The PhoneCardLady was born...

I live just north of Detroit, MI.  I am a member of the Alexander Macomb Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution and a member of the Cribbage Club of SE Michigan.  Genealogy has been a part of my life since 1980 and so far I've been able to prove EIGHT ancestor for the DAR.

I have not worked in almost 17 years due to neurosurgery to remove a tumor off my brain, but I have done a lot of various things.  I am trying to find work at this time, and hope to be back in the workforce soon!!

Welcome to Wicked Sims, sweet.  I also have a bit of a passion for geneology, but my personal ancestry is nowhere near as exciting as DAR.  My Jamie, on the other hand, has tons of European royalty in her bloodline, since she's a direct descendant of the Plantagenets on her mom's side and a Roman Emperor on her father's side.  The only famous person in my history is a Visigoth king named Theodorus.

I have done a little bit of my family tree but only got about 5 generations back before I ran out of info from the women in my family (my great-grandmothers--all of my great-grandfathers died)
All of my family came to America from other countries shortly before World War I except for the native american part I mean lol I'm german, portuguese, dutch, and native american. My great-grandparents all came to america as children except the native american great-grandfather and the portuguese great-grandmother--they were born here (and neither are from the same side of the family lol)
I'd love to get more into my family tree but I think it would require money that I dont have lol

My father was an illegitimate child so we don't know anything about an entire half of my family tree    So I'm definatly jealous!!  The other half is German and mostly English, with names like Butler, Poore, and Pace.  Welcome to Wicked Sims   There are lots of talented artists here so be careful with your hard drive!

My family on my mother's side can trace our roots back to William Brewster, but that's as far as we've gone. My father's side...we know nationalities but nothing concrete.
