Whoa everything looks different around here (Read This for Info)

Ok in case you didnt have a chance to read my earlier news announcement about it, the site was down for the majority of Friday so that I could switch our forum to a different forum software.
Why? Because I wanted sub-forums and other options ("hacks/mods" are much easier to install with this software than with phpbb, which means less downtime when I add things to the site)
Now please keep in mind that it isnt perfectly set up yet. Lots of things still need fixing before everything is "done". But I figured I would let you guys come here and check it out since it was ready (and since I don't know when I'm going to have the time to fix all the little things that need adjusting).

You may notice that alot of links to other pages on our site don't work anymore, there are weird [align=center] coding on certain threads, smileys don't work, and other little things like that.
Please post here with problems that you notice so I can fix it.

Questions you guys might have....

1. Can we get rid of our avatar on the top of the page?
--Yes, click the little "minimize" thingy on the right-side and it should collapse
2. How come I don't see the rar/zip files anymore it's just the screenshots?
--The rar/zip files are LINKS right above/below the screenshots in each of the download threads (sorry you guys I don't think I can control that)
3. What happened to the birthdays?
--Birthdays have to be put back into profiles by YOU GUYS so that they will go back to showing on the bottom of the forum's mainpage, also you guys need to be put your gender and stuff like that (Staff members lost their custom titles in the move--which means they have to add that themselves)
4. What happened to some of the forums? They seem to have moved/disappeared...?
--My Themed Sims (among other things in the board) was divided up into sub-forums, nothing was deleted just moved. "Game Help" and "tutorials" were added to the "Sims2 Discussion" area so they weren't deleted just moved.
5.  What happened to the Links and Donate pages that used to be on the top menu?

6. What are these weird things on the newer threads...report to moderator...etc?
--Well those are new features! If you find something wrong with a post, instead of complaining about it in the thread, you can just click "report to moderator" and it will get taken care of (not instantly, but in a timely manner lol)....


Alright I'm exhausted but please ask questions or post problems here....I really want some feedback from you guys :- )

If you guys come across any thread where one or all of the attachments says 0kb and then you click on it and it says "no attachment found" or whatever, please REPORT that thread so that the creator can reupload the files. You just have to click the "report to moderator" thingy on the bottom of the post.

I have checked all of my threads except in the Archive (several threads of mine need the files reuploaded so I have moved them to a hidden area until I can fix them...once fixed I'll move them back)

Apparently in the move, some of the files got disconnected from the threads. I have all the files saved onto my computer though (good thing I made a backup of the old forum onto my harddrive lol) so I can reupload any files that need reuploaded (not just my own).

Hiya!  Love the look of the new forum!  But, um...I've tried reuploading my files, since they are all showing 0kb and I keep getting this error that the upload file is full.  Help?

*nods* Same problem here. I even tried removing the attachment entirely, saved the changes, then attach afresh. Didn't work either.

Btw, I love that I'm the test subject for all of these changes *grins*

Sorry girls, i fixed it by removing the upload file size limit...you should be able to reupload your files now

Just wanted to let you guys know that I updated the forum software....Since I did that, the "Thank You" thing stopped working right so I had to get rid of it, I will add it back if the creator of the mod updates it so it will work again......and I added new themes...so if you want to change the color theme for the forum, go to your profile and change the theme.

And while you're there, make sure to add your birthday and gender to your profile since that stuff didn't get transferred from the old forum.

If you guys choose the "multicolor" theme, you can then choose which color you want the forum to be...a little dropdown menu will appear in the big box at the top of the page ^^^^^ and you can select the color you want there...

I also added the smileys we used to use on the old forum since I liked those better than the ones that were here

Please remember that if you find a post with broken links or broken files to click the "report to moderator" thingy on the post so we can fix it!
