a new sims 2 addict
« on: November 14, 2006, 12:19:15 PM »

hi jessica , my name is cristiana and i'm from bucharest, romania.i discovered sims2 last year; it was a present from my little brother (actually i think he didn't like it and get rid of it by giving it to me ). i'm not a big fan of computer games, i consider myself a bit old for these (i'm 22) but this game really captures me. i also didn't know that there are custom downloads for the game (or whatever are they called) i found out about them only this fall. i bought open for business last month and i promise i'll buy the other eps next year, i don't have too much money now because i'm a student and i have to pay a lot of taxes.
i love your site and everybody's work here. it is so wonderfull. i wish i could do this too. i tried to learn from some tutorials i've found on some websites but...it's too difficult for me. i don't have too much time too stay online because i'm learning for the final exams for next summer but i'm also not a much of a talker so there won't be too many posts from me , sorry...
anyway i just want to thank you for making my game more interesting and fun and congratulate you for the site

Hi Cristiana welcome to Wicked Sims :D

i'm guessing your little brother didn't like it because it's not violent and bloody like most video games? lol

I'm older than you :P
I think the Sims2 game isn't really meant for any particular age group, there are people in their 80s playing the game and there are kids as young as 10 playing it. I spend more time making stuff for it than playing it though

There are millions of downloads on the web for this game. I even made a "links" page with websites that have downloads on them to make it easier for people who want custom content but don't know where to find it. You can see that page here: http://www.wickedsims2.com/links.php

It's ok that you're not much of a talker, there is no required amount of posts to make lol

I am glad you like this site and I hope you continue to enjoy it :)

Not much of a talker? Nonsense, that was a wonderful introduction :D I'm older than you as well, and we're not the only ones. I hope to never grow up. I can't even imagine how boring it must be..

Welcome to the site!

I love Romania!  It's such a beautiful country!  And Bucharest has a wonderful, rich history and such beautiful architecture...welcome welcome!  I'm probably the oldest of the staff here at 38, but my philosophy (as everyone here will tell you) is "Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional".
