I decided to make a Spanish-style home as a birthday gift for the site since Mardi Gras is here in Alabama, and will be soon moving to New Orleans and down to Brazil (I'm going to all three), and this site's B-day is reason to celebrate and be festive! I hope that was clear...oh well, it's 4 a.m. and I'm on 2 hours of sleep and caffeine.
The home features two courtyard entrances, one in front, complete with a gorgeous fountain, and the other on the side with the porte' cochere. In the side foyer, there is an extravagant fountain/sculpture. This home was made for beautiful weather, since the only way to reach the Master bedroom, the upstairs bedroom, or the main guest bedroom is by passing through the beautifully appointed private courtyard. This is also the only way to reach the second building, which has the kitchen/dining room, the gameroom (complete with two-story ceilings), and another bedroom. Plenty of windows gives this home an open, airy feel which keeps it from feeling as cavelike as a lot of homes tend to be.
I started to furnish this one, but the cost began to really soar, so I changed my mind...this house is HUGE! All that has been provided is the basics in the bathrooms and the kitchen...I'd suggest changing them out for better stuff.
Playtesting has been really fun, so I know you'll enjoy this one.
