Old Boss Factory
« on: May 05, 2007, 01:28:49 AM »
Existing across the street from my old house was a dilapidated, crumbling old plastics factory.  A few years ago, I got to watch Hurricane Ivan try to rip it apart for 18 hours as the storm sat idle over my hometown...then a strange thought occurred to me.  Just one of those bits of randomness that keep the mind from screaming.  I thought, "Wouldn't that place make the coolest night club?"

I've never been able to determine exactly why the place is called The Old Boss factory, but it's a local landmark.  You say to someone while giving directions, "You know the Old Boss factory?  Well, ___, is just up the road from there on the left."  You can bet your last dollar that someone from around here will nod knowingly and then be on their way.

The factory used to make plastic utensils, but no more!  Now, thanks to Sims2 and my weird imagination, it's the hippest night club in town!  Three floors of party heaven!  The first floor has dance floors and bars, so get ready to boogie!  (carefully, though...wouldn't want to spill your drink!)  The second floor is old office space, with plenty of computers for those who just can't go a few hours without being online!  There's also a fully functional kitchen and a hot tub for those...'promotion parties'.  The third floor is set up for those who want to get their game on with pool tables and card tables.  Of course, there's roof access, especially for those intimate moments where couples can hold hands and stare out at the city lights.

The only place my Sims visit more than this place is Pious Paul's Papal Cuisine.  I hope you enjoy it!
