Hideaway Retreat
« on: January 02, 2007, 09:09:38 AM »
Ok, this is my first time ever uploading anything I've made in the Sims, go be gentle, please

I based this lot off of an actual floorplan--but I deviated when I needed to get the look I was going for.  It has 3 bedrooms/3 Baths, a massive basement-y area to expand into or use as a game room/study/whatever, kitchen (of course) and a dining/living area. It's not completely furnished, although I did put a few things in there just to show you how I have certain areas working.

The price tag comes in at $131,733 .

I didn't use any custom content (I had to hold myself back though  :P), but I do have all expansions installed...so I can't be sure if it will work if you don't have them all.

Hope you guys enjoy it!!
Anywho, here's the screenies:

Edited by Jessica: fixed broken attachment
One bright day, in the middle of the night, two dead boys stood up to fight. Back to back, they faced each other. Drew their swords, and shot each other. The deaf policeman heard the sound, and put those boys back in the ground. If you don't believe this lie is true, ask Harry the blind man, he saw it, too.

do you have the snapshots (big pictures like the other ones you uploaded) for the last two files or just the tiny thumbnails that you uploaded?

The house looks nice, good job :)

Is that a Guild Wars pic you have under your username?

Personally, I prefer Nightfall. I have all 3, but NF just has the feel I was looking for..

Guild Wars is my second fave game to play...great job on the lot, by the way.  I'm using it as a vacation cottage for a family, and they seem to like it.  ( I didn't hold back furnishing it with custom stuff LOL)

Nice lot, thanks for it! I like it! :)

I play Guild Wars Nightfall too - started about a week ago - and I love this game. My character is an Elementalist/Ranger, and yesterday I upgraded to 19.

Grats on 19 Ash! I'm glad you like the lot.

I'm also having a lot of fun with my Monk/Necro build...she can really hold her own if she has to!

Lol I stopped Guild wars a few months ago after more than 1 year of playing...  I played mostly with my Necro/Monk, but my favorite was my Mesmer/Monk... weak when touched, but she could do miracles from far :) Argh this discussion makes me wanna play again and I have no time! Grrrr :whip:

And yeah I love your lot, but I only have the original TS2 so.. :(

Awww, Twig, I'll see if I can go back and make it TS2-only friendly when the weekend rolls around.

If you do happen to hop in the game again my guild would gladly team up with you, just look me up: Taleana Dreamsong (I use many variations, but that's the easy one to remember, lol)

I'll make sure to put you in the friends list, but I don't like guilds.. I prefer playing alone, sorry! My necro's name is Alcoholic Kangaroo :) (don't ask Lol)

I'll add you to my friends list as well! Playing alone is fun...I play with my guild only because I know them all and feel compelled :-P
