There are two hard and fast rules to learn if one is going to survive in the Bible Belt. The first is that Truth is a moving target. Truth means nothing, it's one's PERCEPTION of the Truth that is important. The second, especially in small towns like the one I live in, is if one has IT, one doesn't flaunt IT too openly. That's just rude.
Take this property, for example. The first time I saw it, my dog was walking me through a fairly decent part of my small town, and the first thought I had was, "How quaint." Then I looked back over my shoulder and saw the house from the side, and my obsession with beautiful homes kicked into overdrive.
This home epitomizes both of the rules above. From the curb, it presents a very cozy feeling home, but don't be fooled. Inside its walls are four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a large master suite. A beautiful dining room leads to an airy kitchen and breakfast nook, ready for neighbors to drop by for a glass of iced tea. Appearances are that this home is the dwelling of a retired couple, but it can easily house a very large family for generations.
